Football - Boys Varsity

Bishop Foley's football team had a score to settle with Cabrini on Saturday night ran away with a big win in their last home game of the year.  David Leffler scored 3 touchdowns, 2 runs and 1 catch.  He totaled 130yds on the ground for Foley.  Brad Schalk also had a big day as well with 270 yds passing and 3 TDs.  Schalk's day was highlighted by a 70 yd TD pass to brother Jeff and a beautiful fade to the back corner of the endzone brought in by Daniel Zuckowski.  Jeff would total 130yds of receiving in the game for Foley.  

Foley jumped out to a 35-8 halftime lead and scored an early touchdown in the 2nd half.  This allowed the coaching staff and crowd the opportunity to honor the seniors.  The Ventures lined with 11 seniors on the field together for their last offensive series at home.     

This Friday at Lakes a fan bus will leave Foley at 2:30pm for the afternoon game at Lakes.  The cost of the bus is $5 and it will cost students $5 to get into the game at Lakes.  Any student who would like to go to Lakes must sign up in the office by Thursday at 3:00pm.   Please see Mr. West if there are any questions.
