Foley Takes Care of Cranbrook 1-0. Finishes Tied for 1st in the CHSL
It was a cold rainy night at Venture Park Tuesday night, but the Bishop Foley soccer team came together and won are hard fought game against Cranbrook 1-0. The game was 0-0 at the half and very chippy throughout. Foley was able to keep their cool and with the help of an Anthony Rice goal from 25yds out, Foley came away with the win as well.
Then with a little help for Notre Dame Prep, Foley got the news they were co-champions of the league along with AAGR. With the 1st place finish they will travel to Cabrini, winners of their division, on Monday for a 4:30pm start in the first round of the playoffs. If they win at Cabrini they will face the winner of the NDP and AAGR game on Wednesday at Notre Dame Prep. Game time for the championship game will be 5:00pm.
