Basketball - Boys Varsity Foley's Amazing Comeback Moves the Team to the Sweet 16!
Bishop Foley was down 10 with 4 min. to play but never gave. Several clutch plays down the strech by Mike Oravetz, Jordan Walker, Andrew Shango keyed the comback. With 11 seconds left Jordan found Shango open in the right corner and Andrew hit the game tying 3pt shot. Foley would then outscore Allen Academy 11-0 in OT for a 71-60 win. The team plays in the Regional Final on Wednesday at 6:00pm at Harper Woods High School.
Basketball - Boys Varsity Foley Beats Shrine 60-53 to Win Their Third Straight District Championship!
Jordan Walker led the way with 22pts. Alan Wisniewski added 14pts, 3 3pt FGs, 11 reb., and 3 blocks. Andrew Shango played one of his finest games of the season making big plays and hitting FTs late in the game. Bishop Foley will play in the Regional Semi-Final Monday at 7:00pm at Harper Woods.
